About Lani Kai Gardens

Lani Kai Gardens is a plantation-style farm and estate with beautiful and luxurious guest cottages designed to provide our guests with a unique glimpse into the more authentic side of the Big Island of Hawaii. Once travelers here ourselves, we understand the desire to see Hawaii “off the beaten path” and want to give our guests a more personal way to experience the history and culture of the area.

We are a ten acre family farm with Macadamia Nuts, Avocados, Lemons, Limes and more! Our garden-like estate provides our guests with the opportunity to enjoy one of the most historic areas on the west coast of Hawaii. Just minutes from Pu’uhonua O Honaunau National Historic Park  and Kealakekua Bay we are close to the best snorkeling and kayaking on the island. We are located 14 miles south of Kailua-Kona–perfect for day trips to visit South Point, Green Sand Beach, Volcanoes National Park and Hilo.

Our guest cottages provide an opportunity to slow down and relax in comfort with newly remodeled cottages that take all the details into consideration. Our goal is to provide our guests with everything they need to enjoy their stay on this magical island–from 4×4 excursions to hidden beaches, advice on the best places to dine and shop and the gear to enjoy the best beaches in style, we are always here to help make your trip a success!

Join us for a long weekend or take advantage of our long-term rental rates–we are looking forward to helping you to create memories that last a lifetime!
